From a young age, I found myself drawn to the aesthetics of classic menswear-structured silhouettes, subtle tailoring, and the effortless charm of sports-inspired pieces. I would often borrow items from my father’s and brother’s closets, restyling them in ways that felt more like me.
Years later, I studied fashion design at Shenkar College and eventually moved to Milan, where I interned in the menswear department at Diesel.
That experience deepened my connection to fabric, form, and identity-and planted the first seeds of what would become Montevideo 6.
Montevideo 6 is a personal vision turned brand. It’s my way of celebrating timeless design through a unisex lens-drawing from the codes of menswear and sportswear to create pieces that feel relaxed, refined, and real.
Each garment is made in small quantities and with great care-because I believe in clothes you can live in, connect to, and keep.
The name Montevideo 6 comes from the street address where I lived during my time in Milan. A small apartment that became a space of creativity, connection, and growth.
It was there that I truly began to shape my vision, both as a designer and as a person. This name carries with it a sense of place, memory, and meaning-everything this brand stands for.
Thank you for being here,
Ester.
